You compete with yourself when it comes to achieving different things. You may want to achieve what others have or simply want to improve your health. In the end, you can only do what you can. What is discussed is for all of us, whether healthy or not. What you can achieve is limited by how much you practice, study, work on your diet and fitness, and hone your skills. Even small physical improvements can mean big positive changes. You may need to strengthen specific muscles before starting stair climbing exercises. It would help if you kept your hips stable to step up properly, your hips must be strong enough to lift your leg correctly in the next step, and your feet and ankles must support your entire body without leaning to one side, thus giving you a solid foundation. Use your strong leg as a lead. When you climb the stairs, your entire core is engaged. 



It takes some time for your body to get used to climbing stairs. Climbing stairs look easy and can be done with the proper preparation. Some people who are not otherwise healthy find it difficult to climb the stairs. Because every disability is different, you are competing against yourself.
